Our new house

We have been unusually busy here in our winter home.  We’re hosting a week long yoga retreat for seven lovely French Canadians, and providing breakfast and dinner for them during their entire stay.  (Normally, we don’t cook for guests or we hire someone else to do that, but we decided to accommodate a special request.)  So we’ve been doing lots of cooking and dishes, and lots of grocery shopping, which means carrying everything out from town (about a 15-minute walk).  Remember that there are no cars, so that means walking everywhere.  Our “Yelapa legs” are definitely working now.

On top of that, I just had a big deadline at work.  And then, we simply must make time for swimming every day.  With all that action, I’ve been neglecting this blog.

So here are a few pictures of what we’ve been up to…more later. Hope all of you NOTB (north of the border) folks are staying warm!
