Weekend away

We spent the weekend at the Vineyard and even made time to go for a family hike at the near by National Monument.  Mia loved having a new place to explore and new things to look at.  And, Mia’s 5th tooth has broken through!

New place to explore! Amazingly, she never attempted to pull books off of these and other shelves around the house.

Plenty of natural light to go through a new set of board books, which were fortuitously delivered by a friend that same day! She loved the geraniums around the house.

Snack time at the big table.

Mia pointing to her favorite chandelier (made of antlers, barely visible in top right of photo).  She has loved this chandelier since she first saw it at around 4 months old.

Looking at books under her favorite chandelier. (Also, we just started using this crash pad for her to crawl around on and she loves it. Brilliant idea, Papa!)

Hiking.

Me and Tico in front of small cliff dwelling.

Snowy mountain across from canyon lands.

Papa and Mia. (Look closely…can you find Aaron’s office?)

Hiking on the sandstone moonscape.

Lovely girl spent much time admiring these geraniums.

Hope you all enjoy this short week and have a fabulous Thanksgiving!
