Omnivorous

You’ve seen her eat lamb, chew on bread, and now here is a video of her chewing on a cucumber: http://youtu.be/I318v27qimY.

Such serious concentration most of the time…I think chewing on cucumbers (or whatever) feels good on her gums, since her top teeth are coming in now.  Lately she has started to offer us (Mama and Papa) whatever she happens to have (cucumber, block, ball, etc.), and you can see her do that here.  If it is food, we pretend to take a bite.  (If it is not food, we will take it and wait until she holds out her empty hand, at which point we give it back to her; that game can go on for a bit.  Perhaps the subject for a future video…)

In case you’re curious, this is an Armenian cucumber (sans the skin and seeds) grown organically in southeastern Utah by some farmer friends.  And, since we’re only about 30 miles from Utah, we still consider that local.  Anyway, enjoy the video!
