Mia is full of smiles. Here are a few pictures that I think are too cute not to share.
Here is Mia, kickin’ it with Flat Stanley, who came to visit us for adventures in SW Colorado. Our friend, Walker, in Texas sent him our way. Flat Stanley has since returned to Walker’s classroom, where he and his fellow Flat Stanleys are helping the kids learn about geography and culture through their travels.
We all love her white chair. She can sit up in it on her own, grab things off the arms, and with our fancy pillow safety net, she won’t hurt herself even if she decides to launch herself out of the chair. She especially likes this green turtle with all its bells and whistles. I often set this up so I can watch her play while I work in the kitchen.
She really enjoys playing with her spoon (and no it is not silver, it is Nambe, thank you very much…how New Mexican, no?). Especially when we are eating, she is happy to play with her spoon while watching us eat. Good practice for her.
So many more photos…so little time! As you can see, she is dishing out the smiles lately and we routinely have little giggle-fests, which are pretty adorable. Also, she is talking up a storm. Sometimes almost singing (which very much reminds me of my younger sister, Suzanne, when she was a baby), and sometimes screeching! I’ll post some videos of her chatter and adventures with food soon.
