We went to two Easter Egg Hunts this weekend, one in our little town park — or, more accurately, the very large park in our little town — and the other at a friend’s birthday party.  Of course, Mia is too small to hunt for eggs but she got a kick out of watching the older kids.  And, considering the holiday, we thought it would be an appropriate time for another photograph in her pink bunny towel.  She is definitely chunkier now than the last photo I posted in her pink bunny towel…we’re quite pleased with those chubby baby parts!

Other news is that Mia is very close to sitting up unassisted! In addition to the general fun to be had entertaining herself while sitting up, this is the last milestone before we start offering her solid foods: she is 6 months old and is definitely showing signs of interest, as soon as she can sit on her own, we’ll start ‘real’ food.  One of her favorite playthings is a spoon and she almost jumps out of our laps trying to grab our beverages and utensils.  The fun continues!!
