Spring and Packing

The first blossoms have opened on our asian plums, even though the high was only in the 50s today.  And it appears as though most of the Sand Hill Cranes have already headed north, since I haven’t heard them for a couple of weeks now, though I am still hearing geese fly overhead.  In the midst of this early spring, we are packing up our lives and getting ready for a new chapter.  The movers are scheduled to arrive next Wednesday…Ready or not, here we go!

Since I will probably have less time for blogging in the following week, I thought I would post a few photos to tide you over until we are all settled in our new home.

The best thing about short sleeves is that you can see those chubby arms!

That shocked look from the noise-making camera

10 minutes in to our 2-mile loop, and Mia is about to fall asleep while Tico is just getting warmed up.

At the half-way point of our walk, where Tico gets to run, Mia is sound asleep.

After stretching our usual 1 hour walk to 1 hour and 45 minutes, Mia slept for another 30+ minutes in our front yard when we got home!

Two little girls studying each other

Matching outfits...we couldn't resist.

Until next time, hope you all are enjoying the spring, where ever you are.
