Happy Solstice!  I’m actually a bit early, as the winter solstice is technically at 5:30 AM on December 22nd (tomorrow).  I hope you all enjoy the shortest day of the year!  Now, much to my delight, the days will be growing longer and warmer.

The Solstices are my favorite ‘holidays’…great times to appreciate the wonders of the universe, including the sun momentarily standing still and the amazing people we get to share this place with.  Speaking of amazing people…here is a recent photo of Mia:
