Getting ready…continued

Bean's closet: created by Papa; filled by friends and family.

Thanks to our supportive and generous family and friends, we have definitely acquired stuff!  Just look at this adorable closet!  Aaron built custom shelves and painted it to match the room.

We are thrilled at the size of Bean’s library!  I was so excited to have a place to put all the books, that I couldn’t resist using these shelves in the closet at least temporarily.  Rest assured, they will soon have a place of their own in Bean’s proper room, once we decide on shelves.  For now, don’t they look nice in this beautiful closet?

Here is a shot of the clothesline I mentioned yesterday.  I was drying several baby blankets in our abundant NM sunshine and had to snap a photo of that turquoise blue sky.  I feel so domesticated: pregnant lady hanging clothes out on a clothesline.  Now I need a photo of those cute diapers drying in the sun.  Stay tuned for that…

We are most certainly enjoying getting ready for the Bean’s arrival.  We’re grateful for all the things everyone has given us and the Bean!  Thank you everyone, for your time, your thoughtful gifts, and your support!!
