Father’s Day

Aaron, soon-to-be-father, is working on Father’s Day.  He painted Baby’s room today.  We prepped it last night.  (I was allowed to help with taping the room, but not allowed on the ladder.  Nor am I allowed to help with paint, even though we bought the zero-VOC variety.)  He painted the first coat this morning and was done in time to watch the US Open (he has been closely following the rise of the 22-year Rory M. from Northern Ireland), and then painted more this afternoon.

He is very excited about being a Papa.  I know that he will be an amazing father to our baby.  And I am thrilled to be his partner in raising our child.  Happy Father’s Day, my love!

  1. Thank you sweet and beautiful wife. You make all this easy, as being together as long as we have has made me the man I am today. And yes, I am so excited to begin this new chapter together! I love you.
