Waking and walking

Now that I am pregnant, exercise is not just a good idea for me, it is great for our baby, too.  And, I’m training to make sure I stay in good shape to deliver our baby.  Don’t worry, I’m not over-doing it and Aaron is also watching my health like a hawk.  In fact, he sometimes calls me at work just to find out what I’ve been eating for lunch and snacks.

Here are some photos of our 2-mile loop that we walk almost every morning.  You can see Tico running after the ball in some of the photos.

You’re so right, Nick! We are lucky to have such a lovely place to walk so close to home. In fact, we say that practically every time we walk though that park, which is what prompted us to bring the camera and photograph it. That is one of the things we love about downtown Albuquerque, because we’re in the inner valley and so close the river, we get to enjoy big old cottonwoods and things that wouldn’t grow well (without excessive irrigation) in other parts of the high desert city.
